these past week, sleep have not come easy. falling asleep easily, but waking up even easily....at times like before the sun came up, and way before my alarm sounds.

even under influence of alcohol, i managed like a 5hr sleep only. if only one could practise sleeping. dreams never help as one particular one jolted me from my sleep and i never had any sleep for that night.

sleep, you are such a tease. beckoning me, but yet not there for me.

i think hugs are good. maybe hugs might help.

Dbl O is a vile place. Not a single time have i left that place sober. This time round with colleagues.

drinking started at like 8:45 when the club has only got 3 small cats inside. i think i left at ard 2.

Everytime my glasses make a clinking sound against another, i seem to have to finish any liquid in the glass. I lost count of the drinks last night. I know i was appplauded for bringing one more round of drinks at a point of time. I didnt even drink much of that round as my escort came and i slowly walked out as steady as i could.

it's always this kind of case at this place, no matter the company. but at least i am not the one holding my head while in the club.

more of this!! :P except for the stumbling around aftermath.

Saturday was a fine day. Warm sunshine(Thankfully not too warm). Plan was to visit a pet resort @ Jln Kayu. With a visit to Jln Kayu, how can don't eat roti prata!!

So after loading up my usual 1 egg 1 kosong and ice-milo, drove into the small ulu roads to look for our destination. The small lanes flanked by greens brought back some memories of my favourite drives in victoria.

The pet resort was not quite what i expected. There were goats, peacocks, some unknown flamingo-look-alike. They also had a small collection usual pets like rabbits, guinea pig. I think they have a dog run and dog grooming service that might be open to the public.



But probably my favourite time was coffee time, where the ah-ma made the coffee by cooking it over charcoal. not the atas arabica coffee, but a strong nicely brewed local coffee.


Besides the pet resort, i found a mushroom farm where they grew some shitake mushrooms. i felt like buying the buttons, portobellos and shitakes. But how much mushroom could i eat over 3-4days?

Nice alternative to the saturday i usually have(which is lying in the bed). a good place to also prolly bring some kids to touch some animals and get dirty alittle.

blog entries have been rather slow ever since i started work. oh well i have been lazy or there is a lack of stuff to put up. Work is work, so its out of blogs. plus the lack of a daily camera limits me. as i pretty much suck at descriptions with words, which those who played the game "taboo" with me before will say amen and nod their heads. so without much pictures, i have lost quite a few thousand words.

sunday morning, dad woke me up at 7am to do some tomb sweeping (Qing Ming 清明节)! it isn't that much of an issue except i was whacking some monsters the previous night till 3am. yah i got like 4hrs of sleep but uncle here needs a certain amount of beauty sleep lah.

nowadays there is no proper tomb now that most occupants of the tombs were exhumed, there wasn't tomb to sweep but visiting the columbarium, aka condominium. though we reached there at 7ish-8, it was pretty packed.the place was quite heavily smoked which made me wanna walk with my eyes closed.

then the rest of sunday was spent just trying to find some quiet moment to snooze......which didnt come.

weekend came and pass. it wasnt bad at all, except i still feel abit tired:P

now as i sit in front of the computer, rubbing my belly full of porridge and thinking of what my dad had mentioned about his plans for the current housing loan and stuff, I m also trying to fit back my jaw which dropped out alittle when he mentioned it to me.

i need to learn some modules of real life financial management 101.

a rather long run on a wednesday nite. it was tough as it had been awhile since a hard run. sitting all the time in office does not really help either. i noticed that my pants are getting tighter and i had to lossen my belt a single notch nowadays.

@ecp, i run one direction for awhile my friends run the other. objective was to catch up with them after running in my initial direction for while. i had a hard time catching up. by the time i caught up, we reached the turning point. 20mins gone. probably 20mins for the return journey.

But it was fun. i kind of like this pain.

i just did my sums for last month's spending, it was abit shocking (at least for me) :P oh well hopefully its just for that month. I had better cut down on treats and good food and spend wisely . probably need to reassess and rearrange my financial commitment as well.

each time i bring out the car for a drive during wet weather, i have a tendency to wanna just wipe it dry and clean after the drive. abit can't stand the water marks after it drys up. i will probably go research on polishing kits.

damn. i need a hobby....or something like that

what a long down time at this blog. seems like when i dun get high, i have nothing much to post up here :P but probably i have not been getting enough of my nua session. Its been in and out, not much time for me to hang up my legs during weekends.

but first of all......lets welcome Mr & Mrs Goon! Tying the knot on the 24th March 2007.
