Overheard on radio
As you all know, Singapore fuel prices is on the rise. Well so is Australia. Normal grade cost abt AUD$1.3+. So that makes it about the same price as Singapore's.
Anyway while on the bus to school today, over the radio was a lady who called into the radio station and she was having a conversation with the DJ about how her car number plates were stolen. She went to the police to report and was told that the stolen number plates could be used by people who put it on their car, go top up fuel at petrol kiosks, then probably drive off without paying.
What creative minds they have. While it is not a good thing to do, and infact a despicable thing to do. You have to admit that they are really thinking out of the box. Beats having to queue on the causeway, cheat on the 3/4 tank rule on the way to JB to top up fuel. With the 'new car plates', you don't even have to pay!
Unless kena caught, then you pay with time in jail.
