Rainy afternoon for golf
Yesterday afternoon was spent at the greens at the NSRCC playing golf with me dad and 2 of his friends.
Lousy day man!! (Start then stop due to rain) x 3 = lousy day for golf. Even the start wasn't good.
We arrived there like one minute before our tee-off time. No time to prepare. Dad got down to register for me. I parked the car, changed my shoes and had to run to the buggy dispatch area. If you know the rules & etiquette of golf, golfers aren't supposed to be late, plus NRSCC being a popular course. Being late is not too good. You create a backlog of golfers behind you.
We rushed through the first hole. Lots of fumbling, mishits. Then the rain then start then stop. My front nine was atrocious. Only back nine was better. Better tee-off, better iron play. But let down by poor putting. My score, too ashamed to tell you people liao.
But the feeling when hitting the ball right...Shiok. At least for amatuers like me.
One thing I realised, when only guys and guys only are gathered, swearing will take place. hahaha. And also.....
you see people runnning or quickening their pace in a game of golf, when they don't normally run(like my dad) so old still can run!
