jonny sings blues
while mucking around at home few days ago, i spied a box of CDs containing my sis's and mine small collection of CD. i decided to play some music while cooking, so i picked out and played an album by Jonny Lang, a blues guitarist who is currently just 26.
The album, "Lie to me" was released in 1997, while he was 16!
but he plays the guitar with lots of soul and feeling, while singing the blues like a 40 year old dude. Although belonging to the genre of blues, it was nice enough to not only make me listen to it,i actually really enjoyed it.
i have sampled some of his later albums, and they sound real good. Seriously good enough to make me part with some $$.
