Football 001
A weekend has passed. 2 matches has been played for all teams in the EPL. On the top 4, Spurs, Charlton, Man Utd Chelsea, all of them winning past 2 matches.
New season, I hate to say this but Manchester Utd is looking good this season. With their chief goal-getter Ruud Van in form right now. Good buys during off season, so damn strong. Everything seem to look rosy for them.
Chelsea although beat Arsenal just this weekend, i think it looks strong on paper only, backed by financial power. Seems like there are cases of some cracks from within the team, caused by too many good star players(defined by price tag), and some players not coping well with Mourinho the manager's autocratic ways.
Arsenal, well you could say its quite an experienced team. It has some new blood but they doesn't seem to be ready for the title challenge. Plus losing their pillar, Patrick Viera, this would cut their combat power in the middle of the park. I don't facy them putting up much fight for the title. But don't strike them out, they might spring out of nowhere.
Liverpool, all i could say is that they are bloody chokers, always screwing up most of the important matches. Champions League win I say its a fluke. Milan probably switching off in the 2nd half of the finals. So lets hope they can do their supporters proud this season by providing some fight all the way, instead of just choking and stutter at the end.
Odds looks good for Man Utd, then Chelsea, Liverpool followed by Arsenal.
okok enough today lah. Lazy lah. All my research based on reading soccernet. Not much soccer to watch down under. Not that i watch much matches anyway. (I prefer to play).
Any fans of the clubs above don't flame me!! I am not a supporter of any teams above...(except maybe milan)
