Tasmania Day 4
yeah its long overdue but what the heck:p haha i just run thru roughly what we did lah....lazy liao:p
This morning we are leaving Hobart for Swansea, our next stop, where we will visit the Freycinet National Park.Swansea would be about one and half to 2 hours drive from Hobart.

We drove and reached there without much trouble. Checked into our accomadation, Freycinet Waters, a very nice town house which is fully furnished. A bar, a bedroom, toilet with washing machine. Ohh yeah and a small bottle of port.

We packed our stuff and then drove to Freycinet Park, a good 45mins drive. Parked there. It was $20 entrance. So we start to look for our intended destination within, the wineglass bay. Little did we know, its a long path of suffering.
2.5 hrs in & out. Ok we thought. We forgot that this ain't the city, flat roads and paved ways.
We see slopes, roots, stones, trees.......and more slope, roots, stones, trees. Up and down, down and up. Judging from my complaints, you should be able to know that me and st not in good shape to tackle the slopes.

After huffing and puffing for about an hour, we reached......only the lookout.

Stayed there awhile took some pictures. Idiot me said i wanna go down to the beach. So we go, and we huff puff more and more. Wrong decision, it took forever to reach there. It was nice but not really impressive. Not worth the effort.

Walking in took the most of us already. Walking out........almost faint. Anyway we made it out alive. Legs like jelly. On my mind only "I need a seat. I need a break". Soon we made our way to a lighthouse.
Walk so much....*beep**beep**beep*. Not worth at all leh. Yeah its beautiful but its not that impressive. But i give benefit of doubt as there was a heavy overcast.
Soon it was dinner time. Upon Cherisa's advice to explore another small town. We were rewarded. We found a restaurant, Cyrano which served french food.

Fabulous. Fresh Herb toast, cointreau duck, rack of lamb, steak. All using fresh herb, prepared from scratch on order. Certainly satisfied, 2 thumbs up, with my 2 big toes up too.
After dessert and a merci to the cook/owner, we headed back to our accomadations.
And the fourth day has ended.
